The private duty services we offer help hundreds of seniors and their families meet the challenges that come with getting older and continuing to live independently. Many Long-Term Care insurance policies cover in-home, non-medical services. If you are self-paying, you’ll find Black Stone’s hourly rate to be market-competitive and is billed as the service is used, not in advance.

Our home care services range from light housekeeping to private duty nursing. Whether you need assistance a few hours a week or round-the-clock attention, we can provide the care you require. Our flexible services do not require a contract. You employ us for the hours you need weekly and can stop and start services as needed. Our personal, in-home services are available seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Once you’ve decided to use our services, an experienced RN will develop a personalized plan of care for you and coordinate with your physician to follow the treatment plan. Your RN will also visit every 30 days to oversee your care and review and revise your plan of care as necessary; this service is provided at no additional cost to you.
Aides are thoroughly screened and educated
Our home care aides are highly skilled, credentialed and trained, and many are State Tested Nursing Aides (STNA). Black Stone’s requirements with our caregivers are high. Upon becoming an employee, they are given additional training and competency evaluations. Our ongoing training and testing ensures skills remain sharp. Each caregiver is carefully screened and has passed a criminal background check through BCII—Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigations. We diligently check personal references and require each to pass an Employee Health Check. You can rest easily knowing all our employees are fully bonded and insured, including covered under Workers' Compensation Insurance.
