Home Care by Black Stone Hires New Director of Clinical Services

Home Care Company Adds To Cincinnati Team

Cincinnati, OH – October 28, 2009 – Home Care by Black Stone, a leading provider of in-home caregiving services, today announced it has hired Sharon Rachford as the new Director of Clinical Services.

Rachford brings over 20 years of nursing experience, including a stint as Clinical Administrator with MJ Nursing before Black Stone purchased the company. She has served in various nursing capacities at St. Luke Hospital from Oncology to Hospice to the Endoscopy department. While at MJ Nursing, Rachford served as a Clinical Administrator as well as a Case Manager. She is licensed in both the states of Kentucky and Ohio.

Rachford will operate out of the Cincinnati office where she will supervise, manage and oversee all of the skilled nursing services for Black Stone’s Medicare/Medicaid division. “As our company continues to grow we need to bring on quality team members and Sharon definitely fits the bill. Her nursing background in both the hospital setting as well as in home care gives her a really unique perspective as she knows what physicians and discharge planners are seeking in home care and what clients need to feel comfortable in their own homes.
